    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, thank you for giving me this opportunity. I want to thank the hon. Member, the Women Representative for Nyandarua for this beautiful Bill. I want to congratulate her especially because I have heard the women representatives many times complaining that they do not know what their role is. I think it is frustration in terms of the work they should do and I am glad she is showing the way. This is what their primary role is: To represent the marginalized, the women and those who are voiceless in this country. So, I want to congratulate her. I was a Nominated Member in the last Parliament and I did a lot of work in this area because as nominated, my mandate was similar to their current mandate. This is what we foresaw even when we were coming up with the Constitution in terms of the roles of women representatives. That is why I want to give her a big congratulation for this."
