I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Environment and Natural Resources regarding the release of quail birds into the environment and the likely impact of the same. Hon. Speaker, quail farming was introduced at the start of the year 2013; many farmers applied for licences from the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) to operate quail business.
