    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I want to join my colleagues in thanking hon. Wamunyinyi for this very important Bill. The need for the services of counsellors and psychologists cannot be gainsaid. That is why I am happy. I have sat through today’s proceedings to ensure that things go the way they have gone. I want to thank both those who were awake, like hon. Millie Odhiambo, and those who were yawning out of hunger. I want to recognize the presence of people from CRADLE, who are at the Speaker’s Gallery. They have played a role in ensuring that some of the things that we have discussed here bore fruits. I want to urge those we who practise as counsellors and psychologists to do so in the spirit and manner in which Parliament has gone through this Bill. Let them not shame us. They should ensure that this country moves forward in the area of their practice."
