    "content": "On the second one, the United States International University (USIU) was chartered as a Kenyan university on 10th December, 1999. This charter was approved pursuant to the provisions of the then Universities Act, now repealed. Under its charter, USIU appointed a chancellor as one of its organs. That is under Section 9 of the Charter."
