While I appreciate what the Chairperson has attempted to do to answer the question, he has said that it is too early to speculate as to whether the attacks were targeting medical personnel or not. I would like to seek a clarification from the Chair as to why, if at all any action was taken by the police, after these two incidents, barely 25 days later in the same area a young man of 24 years was killed. The Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government is only participating in profiling criminals. Are they alleging that the past offenders who leave prisons are the ones who are engaging in these criminal activities? I want to know from the Chair whether they are beefing up security in Meru County. It appears as if these crimes are being committed within the same locality. This is threatening the security of the people of Meru County."
