    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public works and Housing regarding the status of tarmacked roads in the country. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure approved the tarmacking of several roads across the country in the last three financial years; 2011/2012, 2012/2013 and 2013/2014. To date, most of the said roads have not been completed and yet, funds were set aside for those projects. Hon. Speaker, in the statement, the Chairperson should inquire into and report on:- The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
