    "content": "Hon. Speaker, the Government, through the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) has deployed forest rangers in all the forest stations across the country. The forest rangers undertake patrols in the areas under their jurisdictions. They monitor illegal activities and negative effects to the forests such as illegal and unauthorised cutting of trees and charcoal burning. It is important to note that charcoal burning is outlawed in all forest reserves."
