    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, I started by saying that we are very blessed in this country with natural resources. I am saying that we have discovered iron ore in Taita Taveta and very good quality coal in Kitui, Ukambani. The SGR will be used to export the raw materials and also manufactured goods. The SGR will spur economic growth and we should look at this in a bipartisan way; that this is a good project for this country. For any country to develop, it has to develop its infrastructure so that it can move its goods from one point to the other; so that it can move goods, services and passengers. The old railway could not develop this country because trains cannot travel faster. Throughout the world, 60 per cent of the countries of the world use SGR. This is a step in the right direction."
