    "content": "The issue of security in this country is everybody’s and more so, this House has a critical role to play. When we enacted the laws that govern security operations, one of the areas that we weakened and this was done by the 10th Parliament, was the role of National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS) in this country. In his Speech, the President captured very clearly that this is one area that needs to be reformed properly. This is because when our intelligence unit only gathers information and they cannot prevent the terrorists from carrying out their missions, we will be failing in this country and that is for both sides of the House. Security must be addressed by both sides equally. Over the weekend, two Members of this House were confronted by thugs. Hon. Nassir from Mombasa and hon. Lentimalo were confronted.
