The Legislature; the Parliamentary Service Commission only consumes 1 per cent of the national expenditure, that is Kshs.19 billion out of Kshs.1.6 trillion. Even if Parliament disappeared, the problem of the expenditure in this country will not be resolved. With regard to food security, the President said that we want to do a million acres, but we have started with 10,000 acres. Ten thousand acres times five years or four years is only 40,000 acres. Surely, how do we get to a million with 10,000 acres every year?"
