    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, we have serious grounds and justification to advocate for reforms in the electoral system. In 2007/2008, we faced a serious challenge in our country. We had the post-election violence and to a large extent, we know that arose as a result of the manner in which the elections were conducted, how the results were announced and so on. Therefore, we need to look beyond and come up with reforms in the electoral system. Therefore, as a Ministry, country and Government, we are supporting this Motion. Shortly, we are going to table a Bill on election laws in this country. That way, all the issues that have been raised by Members in this House when contributing to this Motion will be taken into account. We are looking forth to a time when we will take the shortest time possible to undertake our elections."
