Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 32 of the Bill be amended- (a) in Sub-clause (1) by deleting the word “Director” and substituting therefor the word “Registrar”; (b) in Sub-clause (2) by deleting the word “Director” and substituting therefor the word “Registrar” Again, I have suggested that the most appropriate title of the person registering marriages is not the Director but the Registrar."
