    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I support this amendment by hon. Kang’ata and the debate before the Floor. We have had a very good discussion and we have considered different cultures when we are passing these rules. We have considered religions like Islam, Christianity, Hindu and customary marriages. That is because that is where we fall. We did not consider foreign marriages and ideologies when we were coming up with these amendments. Therefore, we should not leave a window open for those ideologies to be forced down our throats. We are guided by our customs, religions and beliefs."
