Members, in this regard the Speaker of the Senate and I held a consultative meeting today in the morning and resolved that a mediation committee on the said Bill should be constituted on or before Thursday, 13th March, 2014. We also agreed that the Committee should comprise three Members from each House. I, therefore, direct that the Leader of Majority Party and the Leader of Minority Party forward the names of the Members to represent the National Assembly in the said mediation committee. This should be done before the end of business tomorrow, Wednesday 12th March, 2014."
