    "content": "When the nominee who has been appointed settles into the Commission - and I am hoping the House will also approve Florence Nyokabi Wachira - let us look critically at the issues which have made it impossible for us to realize the promises made to Kenyans, and one of them being equality. It is not acceptable that, as we speak today, a recent report which was released shows that 53 per cent of all public appointments in Kenya are occupied by members of three communities only and yet, in terms of numbers, those three communities account for just about 40 per cent of the population."
