I stand to second the Report of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs on the nomination of Chairperson and Members to the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR). This Committee has eminent lawyers like the Member for Homa Bay Town, hon. Peter Kaluma. Pursuant to Section 11(7) of KNCHR Act 2011 and Standing Orders No.216(5)(f) and 199, this Committee approves Mrs. Kagwira Mbogori as its Chairperson."
