    "content": "My expectation is that these members will play their critical role at KNCHR, going by what we have experienced in previous Governments, especially in the last Government. The members who were in the Commission at that time had over-stepped their mandate and involved themselves heavily in politics. They veered off from the normal work that they were supposed to do. There are very many issues affecting Kenyans in terms of human rights but, going by experience, they did not play their role very well on that matter."
