If somebody can pass number one, two, three, four, five and then jump to number six, then what is the role of the Committee? The Committee spends a lot of time and sits long hours to give a detailed report, but even in the rejections or in the appointments, no good reasons are given. You cannot see why so and so is number one or number two. They are rejected and no reasons are given. You just see that so and so has been selected, but there is no reason given. I think this is a trend that has gone on for a long time. Something should be done about it. The Government should know that the country is watching. These things cannot be done selectively; the same few people are being selected all the time and yet, we keep on singing about that matter in this House. I do not think that is acceptable. I do not think it is a trend that should continue."
