As much as we are discussing the calendar of the House, Standing Order 172 states as follows: “The Committee on Selection shall be appointed within ten days on assembly of a new House”. Hon. Speaker, I believe this will help us during this Session to solve some committee issues that we have had and have been longstanding for the last one year. Therefore, I request your guidance on Standing Order 172. Thank you."
