    "content": "know we have a very tight programme to ensure that in the next three or four years, the country produces around 5,000 megawatts for our economy to be transformed into a middle-income economy; we only have 40 months to do that. So, we should not touch the budget that we have given to the energy sector. That is KenGen, Kenya Power, Rural Electrification Authority (REA) and Geothermal Development Company (GDC). Institutions need resources to ensure that as a country, we get where we want to be in terms of energy resources."
