    "content": "THAT, aware that the Senate passed a Motion that every county should have a public university; further aware that this country traditionally recognizes its heroes and heroines for their contribution towards development in various capacities; cognizance of the role played by His Excellency the late hon. Michael Wamalwa Kijana who hailed from Kitale in Trans Nzoia County; this House resolves that the Government renames and upgrades Kitale Technical Institute to Wamalwa Kijana University of Science and Technology."
