Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2) (c), I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Committee on Lands regarding the planned rehabilitation of Nairobi City Park. The Government of Kenya and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC) signed over US$20 million, which is an equivalent of Kshs17 billion, agreement for the rehabilitation of the neglected Nairobi City Park.
