    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I rise to support this amendment Bill on Marriage. Marriage is a very fundamental contract and it creates the basis of the family. As we know, the family is an institution of God. This is having taken over all those functions of Genesis. This is very important. I am happy with this Bill because it seeks to consolidate the African traditional concept of marriage which is very important. The fact that the definition is sensitive about who is involved is very encouraging because with modernity, we have many instances around the world which were threatening the institution of marriage. It is very important for us to be very clear as a country or society to say who is involved in this contract."
