Speaker, Sir, pursuant to the Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Co-operatives regarding the recent appointments of directors and deputy directors under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. In the Statement, the Chairperson should inquire into and report on:- (i) whether the Public Service Commission was consulted in the appointment of director and deputy director in the Veterinary Services Directorate and the qualifications of those appointed; The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
