"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, we make laws for posterity. It is difficult to legislate in the African context. Unions are very complex in our African communities. I agree with this because at the end of the day we do not want to kill this Bill. We want to have a win-win situation. It is the first time in the history of this country that we have a Bill of this nature. We do not want to create law based on activism. What we are doing, for the first time in the history of this country we are setting a law for what goes on in the bedroom. It has never happened. These are the bedroom laws."
