"content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I rise to support Sub-clause (d). The words “equity” and “justice” are strewn all over our own Constitution. Whereas we talk about African marriages, we seem to invoke the African culture only when it suits our purposes. This law is futuristic. It is helpful. Therefore, we should retain this clause. Contribution in a marriage is not necessarily financial, as hon. Baiya said. Change spousal roles for one month and see if what the other roles that your spouse plays do not constitute a big contribution. Thank you.
