    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise to support this Bill. Some people know what I went through during campaigns. Like many of the people who were campaigning and seeking elective positions, some of us who did not have a lot of money were competing against people who had billions. There was no law limiting the amount of money that one would have used during the campaigns. Were it not for the fact that our constituents had made up their mind, it would have been very difficult for some of us to be in Parliament today. It is important that we limit the amount of money that is being used otherwise; the youth and most of the women of this country will never be elected into Parliament and other political positions."
