    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I want to, first of all, support the Bill, its initiative and thinking. But more importantly, I want to echo the sentiments of the Chair of the Committee especially for independent candidates, that we have segregation when it comes to carrying out civic education and the actual expenses which have been put. This will ensure that this is not curbed because we still have to reach many people and educate them, especially on aspects of independent candidates and the role of political parties through their nomination processes. I think a lot has been ventilated on this as the Majority Leader has said. I just want to tell the Committee that between the Second and the Third Reading a lot of consultation and indeed, presentations should come to the Committee."
