Shidiye, Member for Lagdera, sought a Statement from the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives. The issue of drought mitigation is under the Ministry of Devolution and Planning and not the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. This question is misdirected. It should be directed to the relevant Departmental Committee which deals with devolution."
