Even when they are commissions of their own nature, they have to appear before Parliament in matters of oversight. Our own PSC, chaired by no less an individual than yourself, hon. Speaker, does appear time and again before the Budget Committee to explain matters to the very House that gave them the money that they are using. It was by the same power that the JSC was summoned. Since it is a commission sui generis there was no reason for them not to appear before the Committee."
