    "content": "The saddening part was that the health centre could not examine and treat that girl. The chiefs and the elders in that area said that the girl’s defilement case could not be taken to the police. The girl was kept for four days because the father was paid Kshs13,000 by the perpetrator. He was also paid eight goats. This was shared among the local elders, the chief and the Member of the County Assembly who did not find the life of that girl meaningful to the society."
