Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to request a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security regarding insecurity affecting fishermen in Lake Turkana, Lake Naivasha and Lake Victoria. The fishermen are no longer safe while carrying out fishing in the deep waters of the lakes that I have mentioned."
