Three weeks ago, I requested for a statement from the Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing on the condition of roads being tarmacked by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) and the Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KERRA), with particular regard to Chuka Town in Tharaka Nithi County. They promised to provide a statement within three weeks. Considering that yesterday you gave an indication that we will be breaking from Parliament on 5th December, 2013, it will be good if I get the statement within this time."
