"content": "(a) There is only one entry fee collection point authorized by my Ministry, and not two as alleged by the hon. Member. This is at the road barrier located at the Menengai Forest Station Office along the Crater Climb Road linking Nakuru Town and the crater. Although the crater can be accessed through four other roads, none of these has cess or entry fee collection points, since these roads are seldom used due to their poor condition. People prefer the Crater Climb Road, which is more direct. In addition, the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) officers patrol the forest to ensure that all persons found inside have receipts indicating that they have paid the requisite entry fee."
