"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, when we did a survey and held a stakeholdersâ meeting with the growers and millers, they wanted another bank apart from the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC). We went to the market and tendered and three institutions were picked. They were National Bank of Kenya, AFC and Equity Bank. Equity Bank won the tender and we are negotiating with them at the moment."
