    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker, Sir. I rise to support this Motion very strongly because it makes a lot of sense for a country and an economy like ours. Kenyans might love luxury but if they do so, let them pay for it and they can truly appreciate the luxury. I think to do so at the expense of the taxpayer is too heavy a burden to bear. Many people might know, but some may forget that of all the countries of the world, Kenya is among the most unequal societies; those at the top are probably truly well remunerated and those at the bottom are truly at the bottom; any savings that are made on small measures like this might go a long way in narrowing the gap between those at the top and those at the bottom."
