Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to seek a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security regarding the recent killing of clergymen within Kilifi and Mombasa counties. On 8th October, I requested a Statement from the Chairperson of this Committee regarding the killing of some Muslim Sheikhs and the Chairperson had requested one month to be able to give us an answer. There have been hatred and negative sentiments regarding killings of religious leaders."
