Ochieng on whether the select committees have the right to conduct private investigations on matters raised in this House. Almost every Committee is conducting one or another investigation, and they have the right and the powers to do so. We should not try to stop them; they have to investigate for them to conduct their supervisory roles and to make sure that things are run in a transparent way.
