    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, the point of information is that, indeed, it is a constitutional matter on the marriages that are accepted in this country. You have to marry a member of the opposite sex. That matter did raise a lot of attention and indeed, took a lot of attention during the Constitution-making process. In essence, you cannot have a marriage between two women. That is completely unconstitutional. It is not only illegal but it is also unconstitutional. If you look at Article 45, around which the Matrimonial Property Act is anchored, the marriage has to be of adults who are above 18 years of the opposite sex. That is the point of information."
