    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, the next one is the amendment to the Central Bank of Kenya Act. Basically, what we are doing is to allow the microfinance banks to participate in foreign exchange transactions, which I had explained earlier were initially prohibited. So, it is to harmonize so that where it was prohibited, we are giving them that power so that it is in line with the microfinance Act, the Banking Act and now the Central Bank Act.
