    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I thank you for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this important Bill. The communications industry in Kenya has walked a very long path. Those of us who grew up in the rural areas will remember the days when we used to walk as long as 20 to 30 kilometres in search of a telephone booth only to reach there and find that the booth was in operational. We also remember the many long queues that used to be here in Nairobi as people waited to make calls in telephone booths; these have now become more or less obsolete."
