    "content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order 44(2)(c), I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Education, Research and Technology regarding the loss of public land belonging to schools across the country. There have been cases where land belonging to schools has been regularly acquired by private developers despite the said public land having been owned by relevant local authorities. For instance, in Rabai Constituency, Kajiwe Primary School and Kajiwe Secondary School, with student totals of 1,141 and 208 respectively, are facing the threat of deregistration and closure due to their land having been taken away in unclear circumstances."
