Deputy Speaker, it will not help even to stand here and talk about equity and regional balance if we do not look at the underlying issues that have made the PSC not to execute its mandate. This House has set a precedent of standing firm and making a decision based on principles and issues at hand. The only thing this House can do this afternoon in so far as the membership of PSC is concerned is to pull back, redraw the list and look at it afresh. Otherwise, from the look of things, this list is headed nowhere. Those names are going to be shot down and it will not help anyone."
