    "content": "squatters, who are now adults, are children of the original beneficiaries. Plots that did not have disputes have been invaded by the new generation of squatters, hence perpetuating the squatter problem. (c) Plot verification exercise is currently being undertaken by a team comprising of the District Settlers Selection Committee (DSSC) to establish the current group status. The ground report will be matched with the ministerial probe committee report to determine the current ground and record status. The way forward will be informed by the findings and recommendations of the verification exercise which is expected to be completed by the end of June, 2011. In July, 2011, a leaders meeting will be convened to ratify the recommendations of the DSSC which will then be forwarded to me for policy direction. Meanwhile, the status quo remains until the exercise is completed and its recommendations implemented."
