Deputy Speaker, information availed to me by one of the many Kenyan students in this university is to the effect that for one year now a group of Kenyan students has been pursuing their applications for bursaries in vain. This follows a proposal or an application submitted to the relevant Education Officers – a proposal which was duly acknowledged and followed with a promise by the said officers to act on the students’ request within a week and that was in September of last year."
