    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. Pursuant to Standing Order No. 44(2)(c), I hereby request a Statement from the Chairperson, Committee on Administration and National Security concerning the issuance of work permits and citizenship to foreigners in Kenya. The rate of unemployment in this country is alarming, but the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, through the Department of Immigration; constantly issues work permits to foreigners for jobs that can be done well by Kenyans. Permits have been issued to several foreigners who are supposed to provide specialized services. The process of acquiring these work permits in the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, Department of Immigration is very fraudulent and corrupt. It has led to illegal immigrants into the county who have contributed to the high level of insecurity in the country. In the Statement, the Chairperson should report on the following matters:-"
