"content": "Hon. Deputy Speaker, I really struggled to hear what the Chairman was saying, but I think I got the last bit which is of interest to me. This is where he has said that they are waiting for the contract to be signed. This road is very important to the Kamba Community and more so the people of Kitui County. What he has said in terms of feasibility studies and signing of some of the contracts is true. However, this contract with a bank in China has really taken a long time. I remember that before former President Kibaki retired, he committed that the road would be tarmacked before he leaves State House.
