    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I am satisfied with the first one. Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I hereby request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade concerning the scrap metal Bill set to be introduced by the Government in Parliament. Hon. Deputy Speaker, in the Statement, the Chairperson should inquire into and report on the following two issues: One, the reasons occasioning the delay by the Government to introduce the scrap metal Bill that is required to regulate the trade of scrap metal to reduce the numerous cases of vandalism in this sector. Finally, when the said Bill will be introduced in the House for debate and consideration. Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker."
