Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security regarding the fire tragedy at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on 7th August, 2013. Hon. Deputy Speaker, the investigators looking into the case of the fire were expected to release a report on the findings. In the Statement, the Chairperson should find out from the Executive and inform the House when the said report will be ready and released to the public. Thank you. Hon. Deputy Speaker.
