"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is actually an obligation of the Government to take care of citizens aged over 60. There are no two ways about it. We would all love to see our fathers and grandfathers living beyond 80 years old. That is what happens in other countries. But our people are dying so early. A person who is 40 years old looks like he is 90 years old because there is nothing to eat. I have done my research especially in Kandara. I have found out that if people are fed properly, they can live up to 90 years old. They lack food. They cannot even wash themselves. They cannot even buy a bar of soap because of poverty. Those people look very funny. They look like they have been forgotten and it is high time that the Government takes care of them. It is the responsibility of the Government to take care of those people."
